I HAVE A NEW NAME

 It was only 48 hours ago that Willow officially joined our family and I am already completed smitten with this little lady. Words just don’t seem to express how I feel. This is going to be fun!

Truth is, when Willow starts talking I guess that’s when we will truly know our names, oldest grandbaby gets to name their grandparents, that seems very full circle

Emma was a warrior and 

Joe was her rock

I had the privilege of spending the entire day of labor in the room with emma and joe. At 12:15am when it was finally time to push, I went home. I was expecting  2-4 hours before I would hear the big news. Turns out Willow was born at 1:01am

I feel so honored that Emma wanted me with her. I will forever hold that day close to my heart. I’m so proud of Em, she was amazing!

This year has certainly had its ups and downs. It seems like so much has changed from last year at this time. Yet you continue to press forward, making a mark for yourself. You are a young woman who believes with conviction, loves with your whole heart and leads with passion. Stay strong and always draw near to Jesus. 

Dad and I were glad that everyone could carve out a couple hours to have dinner to celebrate you. I hope you enjoyed your decorated car, it was done out of love in the dark of the night. 

I know I tell you this all the time and I will continue to do so, I love you today, tomorrow and forever.

I just can't believe I am going to be a Mimi, aka grandma.

I can't wait!!

Emma has dealt with so much illness through out this pregnancy. Being a mama is hard, she's already rocking it! She makes me proud!

This girl has the best class schedule.

Monday/Wednesday start at 10:30, choir and theater

Tuesday/Thursday start at 9:15, AP stats, AP German, AP something else

Yeah, judge me. She's the 3rd child and I can't remember what classes she is taking. 

Friday start 9:15, 8 periods with only 5 classes.

It wasn't like that when I was in high school We didn't have open campus or open blocks during the day. Three days a week she can come home for lunch, I love when I am home with her for lunch. These are some of the moments I am soaking in. They will be over before I know it.
